The installation process for the solar panel scheme in Punjab involves the following key details:

1. Eligibility Criteria:

   • Residents of Punjab using between 100 to 300 units of electricity per month and possessing a valid CNIC are eligible.
   • Those living in rented accommodation need to have permission from the landlord.

2. Registration Method:

   • Online Registration:
     • Visit the official portal of the Bank of Punjab.
     • Fill out the Solar Panel Scheme form and attach necessary documents.
     • Submit the form online and wait for confirmation of eligibility.
   • Offline Registration:
     • Visit the nearest Bank of Punjab branch to obtain and submit the registration form along with required documents.

3. Benefits of the Solar Panel Scheme:

   • Reduces monthly electricity expenditures, making it more cost-effective.
   • Reduces carbon emissions, benefiting the environment.
   • Ensures energy independence with consistent and stable power.
   • 75% of the cost is covered by the government, making it more affordable for people.

4. Cost and Installation:
