The Punjab cabinet recently approved the "Roshan Gharana" program, aiming to provide solar panels to consumers using up to 500 units of electricity. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz gave the green light to the scheme in a meeting, outlining the following key points: The provincial government will cover 90% of the solar panel cost, with consumers responsible for the remaining 10%.
